I read these books long ago and am reading them again on my kindle.

The stories are fine, but the editing is HORRIBLE. There are so many spelling errors! What bothers me the most in Tarnished Gold, specifically, is that the main character is called GABRIEL, in the description and in the book text. Her name is GABRIELLE, the two are not interchangeable! It's so irritating trying to read a story that you PAID FOR, and having to make mental corrections on nearly every page. This applies to all of the series, not just the Landry series.

I love the Landry series. I love how this book goes back and tells the story of Ruby's mother and the tragic events that befall her
Havent read yet.have started this series all of her things are good.
There was nothing that I didnt like about this book. V.C Andrews is my absolute favorite author!
great prequel to this series, knew endpoint since read the sequels prior but still interesting what the mom went through -- the end was esp interesting, as I wondered the whole time how they were going to portray that
The whole Landry series is GREAT
I enjoyed the book very much. After I finished I gave it to my daughter to read then we'll pass it on to my sister. The book was in very good condition and was sent in a timely manner. I only wished that I had read that one first of the series, It was a prequel so it could have been read first or last. I've had great results with AMAZON my daughter got me hooked the first time I used them and now I have a new (BOOK STORE) and a great place to purchase other items also.... THANK YOU AMAZON for being there for us!!!
I loved this book... this book has a Lil bit for everyone... romance, heartache, scoundrels, and most importantly the power of a mother's love and what she does for her children...
